The SAU Attendance System This App is developed by Ashfaque Ali Shanbani (2k21 Batch) under the supervision of the SAU-UMS Team & Coordinator Dr Arif Hussain Mangsi. This app is designed to facilitate digital attendance tracking for students and teachers at Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. Personal Information: Name, Father's Name, Roll Number, Email Address, Mobile Number, and Password (generated for login purposes).
Device Information: We collect your unique Device ID (Android ID) to ensure secure login and prevent unauthorized account access on multiple devices.
Location Data: We collect precise location data (Latitude and Longitude) only when you mark your attendance. This is used to verify that you are physically present within the teacher's specified radius. We do not track your location in the background.

The app requires the following permissions to function correctly:

Camera: To scan QR codes generated by teachers for marking attendance.
Location (GPS): To validate your physical presence in the classroom during attendance marking (Geofencing).
Storage (Read/Write): To generate and download Attendance Reports in Excel format (feature available for Teachers).

To verify student identity and maintain accurate attendance records.
To calculate attendance percentage and generate academic reports.
To prevent proxy attendance using location verification and device restrictions.
To improve the app's functionality, security, and user experience.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. Your passwords are encrypted, and attendance records are stored securely on our servers. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
